About Me

Dr. Rebecca Chandler, Licensed Clinical Psychologist offering online therapy in California

Welcome! I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist in California (PSY 29465) specializing in structured, time-limited, evidence-based treatments for trauma, severe stress, and burnout.

My approach bridges top-tier academic research with compassionate, practical clinical care. Holding both a PsyD in Clinical Psychology and an academic research DPhil in Psychiatry from the University of Oxford, I bring a rigorous, science-grounded foundation to every session. As a Staff Psychologist and Program Manager on the PTSD Clinical Team with the VA Northern California Healthcare System, I have extensive expertise helping individuals navigate complex trauma, moral injury, and demanding environments.

Therapy with me is warm, goal-oriented, and collaborative. Rather than endlessly talking in circles, we use focused, proven methods to help you regain clarity under pressure, learn concrete skills, and get back to living the life you want to live.
